Berkshire Zero Waste Initiative is a program of Berkshire Environmental Action Team (BEAT). Our mission at Berkshire Zero-Waste Initiative is to grow and support a zero-waste culture in the Berkshires by working with the public to increase recycling and composting efforts in addition to encouraging meaningful waste reduction practices. BEAT's broader mission is to protect the environment for wildlife in support of the natural world that sustains us all.
