Village of Mead Composting

County Road 10, Mead, NE 68041, USA

Compost facility on County Rd 10 near 1st Street. Dump for Mead Residents Only. Tree branches, weeds, leaves and grass clippings are the only items permitted. A roll-off is onsite to dispose of iron / metal products. Mead Clean Up Day held in May or June annually. Roll-offs placed in front of village office. At that time we will take batteries, paint, etc., plus all other items, other than construction refuse, tires, trash or anything that can be disposed of on the regular garbage disposal route. This event is open to Mead residents only.
