Description: In addition to providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities, MNIS meets the recycling needs of Holdrege and the surrounding areas. MNIS Recycling accepts aluminum, tin, newspaper, magazines, office paper, plastic, and cardboard. The drive-thru is located next door to the Prairie Hill Landfill. In addition, drop off trailers are available at Holdrege Market Place, 14th and Burlington Street and the City Parking Lot at 4th and Grant.

Current collection sites are located at: Standing Bear Trailhead (near the intersection of South 6th Street & Perkins Street) Beatrice Skate Park (near the intersection of Center Street & West Court Street). Midwest Area Refuse Solutions (MARS) offers a weekly curbside recycling service for paper, plastic, and cans. Residential curbside recycling service is $7.50 per month.
