Description: Meet Recycle Livingston, the only non-profit recycling drop off center serving the community since 1989. And we are still committed to reducing the flow of solid waste to local landfills today, even expanding our program to include many hard to recycle items such as household batteries, Styrofoam, latex paint, clothing (usable and unusable), shoes, among other things. Since our beginning, we have relied on volunteer support so we can provide our services at a minimal cost and be available to everyone. Many of the items we accept are difficult and expensive to recycle. We recycle VHS/Cassette/DVD/Hard drives/floppy discs for $.30/lb for members, $.50/lb for non-members. We also offer confidential paper shredding available for $.50/lb for members and $.75/lb for non-members. Televisions, computers, and miscellaneous electronics are also recycled here however please call for the pricing schedule as it changes. Latex paint is $3 per gallon and $1 per quart sized or smaller. Many of the other items we accept for recycling have no additional fees other than membership fees or gate fees. Memberships are available for $40/year for regular households and $30/year for persons 62 or older. Or you can choose to pay the $10 gate fee to come and visit our site. The best part...every material we accept is 100% recycled. We look forward to meeting you.... "You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make" ~~Jane Goodall

Description: Community Enterprises of St. Clair County was formed in October of 2011 by The Arc of St. Clair County as a new private, non-profit organization to assume responsibility for and operation of programs that serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These programs are designed to help individuals in their quest to live, work, and be included with others in all aspects and places of community life. Through our network partnership with Securis your unwanted electronics are processed and separated into raw materials, which we can successfully divert from landfills and incinerators toward the manufacture of new products, At the same time, we create sustainable jobs that enable people with significant disabilities to become known as stewards of the environment. The mission of CE Electronics Recycling is to provide a cost-effective, environmentally safe program that will fill the need for electronic waste recycling and assist us in meeting our primary mission of providing job training and employment opportunities to people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
