Description: The Climate Action Plan is a bold, actionable framework for our university to adapt to the future demands of climate change by doing our absolute best to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and best educate our students about the reality of global warming. The Sustainability Task Force has amassed a diverse, passionate team of students, administrators, and faculty spanning across all departments to create this list of formal recommendations for the university. Our main goals with this climate action plan include: 1) Improve our mode of data collection, analysis, and accounting for waste and carbon output. 2) Develop specific and actionable goals for emission reduction while developing a realistic timeline to meet these objectives. 3) Work with faculty to develop climate and sustainability relevant curriculum to best provide our students with a well-rounded and holisitic education as they prepare for the workforce. 4) Collaborate and draw from other institutions of higher educations that have adopted similar structures successfully.

Description: Recyclers & Drop Off Location The City of Louisville provides curbside recycling to residential customers through our contract with Papillion Sanitation. This pickup is done weekly. The County also provides a trailer at 205 Depot St. in Louisville that is always available to city as well as County residents. The County and City agreed that the City maintenance crew takes the trailer to First Star in Omaha whenever it gets full. The City also has a designated spot for yard waste, tree branches, etc. for City residents only.
