Description: My Battery Recyclers is a certified Women Owned Enterprise(WBE) located in Brooklyn New York and holds 4 strict Environmental Certifications: ISO:14001, ISO:9001, OHSAS:18001 and R2(responsible recycling). Our on-site and off-site services offer a convenient way to comply with local, state and federal laws and ensure for the responsible recycling of electronic waste, all battery types, bulbs and ballasts. Additionally, we are suppliers of NEW battery types from brand name manufacturers as part of our cradle-to-grave service. We specialize in the decommissioning of Mission Critical Infrastructure Assets such as UPS (Battery Back-Up) systems, Interconnected and Ancillary Devices as well as their respective battery type through our on-site full turn-key service offering. Other services we offer are IT Asset Management and Industrial Asset Recovery. We provide various size collection containers for the proper storage of e-waste, batteries, bulbs and ballasts. Once full, we can pick up on an “on demand” or recurring scheduled basis. All waste items flow downstream to our certified US based EPA Smelters and Recycling Facilities which hold the highest environmental certifications and a certificate of recycling is provided.

Description: Founded in 1977, Recycle Ann Arbor is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to innovative recycling programs that improve the environmental quality of our community. Recycle Ann Arbor's Drop-Off Station provides recycling and compost services for much more than what can be put in your curbside recycling bin. Accepting plastic bags, plastic bottle caps, styrofoam, textiles, electronics, yard waste and more, you really can increase your recycling through utilizing the Drop-Off Station station. Description: The Oceana Conservation District is the host of the HHW Collection Event and is a local unit of state government organized under provisions of Act 297 (Public Acts of 1937) as amended.The district is governed by a five-member, locally elected Board of Directors. Conservation districts in Michigan were formed to provide natural resource management services that help residents conserve their lands and our environment for a cleaner, healthier, economically-strong Michigan. Our Mission is to promote conservation, stewardship and sustainable use of the natural resources in Oceana County through landowner assistance and education. We address local concerns including: water quality, soil conservation, erosion control, land use/forest management, nonpoint source pollution, invasive species management, habitat improvement, etc. The Annual Household Hazardous Waste/Clean Sweep and Electronics Collection Event is held each year on the 3rd Saturday of August in partnership with Mason and Manistee Counties who have their own collection sites on the same date and times. We do not accept any type of wastes at any other time and not ever at our office locations. On August 21 2021, we will be holding our 14th Annual HHW Collection Event in combination with Clean Sweep (pesticide collection), electronics and pharmeceutical collection.

Description: Maria, founder of Unlimited Recycling established in 1999, is a “One-Stop-Shop” company specializing in waste disposal management, waste assessments and recycling services for solid, universal, sorted office and organic waste. The high demand and awareness in waste reduction/recycling has given the company an opportunity to expand services into building cleanouts. In addition, they offer equipment rental, including compactors, balers and dumpster roll-off services. Maria is an Alumni member of Stanford Graduate School Of Business of Stanford, CA and a mentor for the Stanford University Hispanic Entrepreneurship Program. She graduated from the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurs Leader Program in Cohort #3, winning Unlimited Recycling, Inc. 1st place in SLELP 2016 video competition. Unlimited Recycling has been recognized by the State of Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, and the Macomb Regional PTAC for her determination, efforts and success. In addition, she received excellent ratings from the United States Army for the completion of a 5-year waste and recycling contract. Unlimited Recycling graduated with honors from the SBA 8(a) program in 2012 and is currently a member of MDOT, Wayne County Airport Authority, WEBNC and Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
