Please place paper and cardboard in the large blue recycling bins located in the parking lot of our facility. For large quantities of paper and/or cardboard or for confidential documents, please visit during regular business hours. No plastic please!

Description: Headquartered in Jenison, Michigan, Nu-Wool Co., Inc. recycles paper into eco-friendly cellulose insulation that is installed in residential and commercial structures. The recycled content of Nu-Wool Premium Cellulose Insulation is 86% and less energy is used to heat and cool a structure that is insulated with cellulose insulation. Nu-Wool creates quiet, comfortable, draft-free and energy efficient structures that meet building codes and have a class A fire rating. Nu-Wool Co., Inc. processes 150 tons of recycled paper each day in its manufacturing process. Plus, the manufacturing process of Nu-Wool uses less embodied energy than the production of foam or fiberglass insulation therefore reducing Nu-Wool's carbon footprint. At the Jenison manufacturing facility, Nu-Wool collects paper and cardboard for recycling and will also do document shredding. Contact us for more information!

Businesses may set up a commercial recycling account with MARS for collection services or self-haul to a recycling processor. Current collection sites are located at: Standing Bear Trailhead (near the intersection of South 6th Street & Perkins Street) Beatrice Skate Park (near the intersection of Center Street & West Court Street). Midwest Area Refuse Solutions (MARS) offers a weekly curbside recycling service for paper, plastic, and cans. Residential curbside recycling service is $7.50 per month.
