Description: The Recycle Depot processing facility is located in the Town of Poughkeepsie at 230 Van Wagner Road and can be seen from the RAILTRAIL. Our facility is available to contractors, businesses and homeowners for disposal of construction, demolition and bulky waste. We are a local, family owned Hudson Valley Business. Recycle Depot serves as an oasis in a region sorely in need of viable alternatives to landfills and recycling options. Prior to opening the NYS DEC Permitted Construction and Demolition Processing facility, local construction companies were faced with the much higher costs of disposal with no real convenient local recycling options. The construction and demolition could be taken in but as co-mingled debris. There is a major distinction between a transfer station and a PROCESSING FACILITY. The transfer station just redirects debris from point A to point B. The processing facility takes action to sort the sustainable product from the waste stream. At Recycle Depot , the debris is sorted and processed into reusable materials such as landscaping mulch, topsoil, and clean fill. Recycle Depot also provides the service of sending cardboard and metals to other recycling centers for reprocessing. With each year that goes by, Recycle Depot innovates and looks ahead to new opportunities to change the landscape and bring new ideas and innovation to our community. We are a leading provider of solid waste collection, transfer, recycling and disposal services. Construction dumpsters are available for rent in the following sizes: 10 yard 12 yard 15 yard 20 yard 30 yard 40 yard Recycle Depot is also available for weekly commercial services with dumpsters sized from 2-8 cubic yards. Our RESIDENTIAL CURBSIDE SERVICE is available also. The following products are available for sale: MULCH RECYCLED ITEM 4 TOPSOIL

Description: The Marquette County Solid Waste Management Authority is a dual stream recycling facility. Via a residential curbside collection and drop off service, we receive recyclable materials in two streams: Fiber and Rigid. We operate a small scale MRF and baler on site. Rigid (plastic/metal/glass), materials are separated in the MRF. Glass and ferrous material is removed. Currently we market a 1-7 bale product. Our fiber product is a residential mix comprised of OCC and mixed paper. This product is baled on site and shipped to market. Currently, we receive 155/TPM. 70% Fiber and 30% Rigid. The overall goal of the program is to provide a cost effective recycling option for the municipalities of Marquette County, local school districts/universities, and civic groups. The program is available to those who choose to participate. Currently, 15 of the 22 municipalities of Marquette County participate in our dual stream program.
